This alerto.in Member and Visitor Privacy Statement describes the Company's privacy practices in relation to the use of the Company's Websites and the related applications and services offered by the Company under the "alerto.in" brand (the "alerto Business Services").We regularly review our compliance with this Privacy Policy. To our knowledge, we comply with the CAN SPAM Act of 2003. We take all of your concerns seriously and will review any written complaints received by us.

1. What Information does this Policy Apply to?

This Privacy Statement covers the information practices of Websites that link to this Privacy Statement, including: www.alerto.in, (collectively referred to as "the Company's Websites and CRM integrations").
The Company's Website may contain links to other Websites and CRM softwares. The information practices or the content of such other Websites are governed by the privacy statements of such other Websites. The Company encourages you to review the privacy statements of other Websites to understand their information practices.

2. Information Collected

The Company collects individually-identifiable information from our talented young team alerto by sourcing and refreshing the data from time to time. When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the alerto Services or scheduling the meeting with us through business@alerto.in . When purchasing the alerto Services, the Company may require you to schedule the meeting and request you to provide the Company with financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the alerto Services ("Billing Information"). The Company may also ask you to provide, or otherwise allow you to share additional information, which you may choose to share in your registration for or use of the alerto Services("Optional Information"). Required Contact Information, Billing Information, and Optional Information are referred to collectively as "Data About Customers."
As you navigate the Company's Website or use the alerto Services, the Company may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons ("Web Site Navigational Information").Web Site Navigational Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol ("IP") address, HTTP header information and the actions you take on the Company's Website (such as the Web pages viewed and the links clicked).
As part of using the alerto Services, Customers may submit electronic data or information to the alerto Services ("Customer Data"). Any uses of Customer Data by the Company are done so pursuant to the Company's Terms of Service or a subscription agreement in place between the Company and the relevant Customer, which exclusively govern the Company's treatment of Customer Data and supersedes this Privacy Statement in case of conflict, or as may be required by law. We do not sell or distribute our Customer Data.
When you request for the data and CRM integrations we will provide you with the data through mail. Also we mentioned that all the data stored are hand curated by alerto team. As part of our services and offerings, we may share the "Contact Data" , Company profile information with users of our services. However, we never identify you as the source of the contact data.
When you use one of our integrations for third party CRM products, we periodically access the historical data from your application to recommend you with a list of similar accounts and leads/contacts. The information we access may include accounts, leads and contacts. We will never contact any of your leads and contacts.

3. How do we use the information?

The Company may use your information to send you information (other than marketing communication) which we think may be of interest to you to further discuss your interest in the alerto Services and to send you information regarding the Company, decision makers list and key alerts in the market businesses.
The Company uses Billing Information solely to check the financial qualifications of Customers and to collect payment for the alerto Services.
The Company uses Web Site Navigational Information to operate and improve the Company's Websites. The Company may also use Website Navigational Information alone or in combination with Data About Customers to provide personalized information about the Company and the alerto Services.
Our purposes for collecting the personal information include:

  1. Providing our customers with information, products or services they request from alerto.
  2. Providing our customers with communications about relevant alerto products or services.
  3. Improving the quality and accuracy of the alerto business Services.
  4. For testing, research, analysis and product development.
  5. Responding to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.

IP Addresses and URLs

Due to Internet communications standards, when you visit or use the Company's Website, the Company automatically receives the URL of the Website from which you came and the Website to which you go when you leave the Company's Website. The Company also receives your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address (or the proxy server you use to access the World Wide Web), your computer operating system, the type of Web browser you are using, and your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This information is used to analyze overall trends to help us improve the alerto Service and to track and aggregate non-personal information. For example, the Company uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which alerto Members, Customers and Website Visitors navigate the Company's Website.
The Company may collect aggregated data regarding use of the alerto Services and the Company's Website, including, without limitation, number of Website Visitors to the Company's Website, frequency and patterns of use, tag usage, feedback request trends, etc. ("Aggregated Data"). The Company uses Aggregated Data as a statistical measure and not in a manner that would identify you personally. Aggregated Data enables the Company to determine how often certain parts of the Company's Website or the alerto Services are used so that we can improve them. The Company may make use of, or make such Aggregated Data available to, third parties, in any manner in our sole discretion.

Social Media Features

The Company's Websites may use social media features, such as the Facebook 'like' button ("Social Media Features"). These features may collect your IP address and which page you are visiting on the Company's Website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. You may be given the option by such Social Media Features to post information about your activities on the Company's Website to a profile page of yours that is provided by a third party Social Media network in order to share with others within your network. Social Media Features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on the Company's Website. Do Not Track

Currently, various browsers - including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari - offer a "do not track" or "DNT" option that relies on a technology known as a DNT header, which sends a signal to Websites' visited by the user about the user's browser DNT preference setting. alerto does not currently commit to responding to browsers' DNT signals with respect to the Company's Websites, in part, because no common industry standard for DNT has been adopted by industry groups, technology companies or regulators, including no consistent standard of interpreting user intent. alerto takes privacy and meaningful choice seriously and will make efforts to continue to monitor developments around DNT browser technology and the implementation of a standard.

7.Data Retention

We retain the personal information you provide while your account is in existence or as needed to provide you services. We may retain your personal information even after you have closed your account if retention is reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes between members, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce this Policy and the Site’s Terms and Conditions. We may retain personal information, for a limited period of time, if requested by law enforcement. Our customer service department may retain information for as long as is necessary to provide support-related reporting and trend analysis only.

8. Sharing and transfer of Information Collected

Service Providers

The Company may share Data About Customers with the Company's contracted service providers, such as payment processors, so that these service providers can provide services on the Company's behalf. The Company may also share Data About Customers with the Company's service providers to ensure the quality of information provided. This Privacy Statement sets forth the information alerto collects on the Company's Websites and the information we share with third parties. alerto does not authorize the collection of personal information by third parties through advertising technologies deployed on the Company's Websites, nor do we share personal information with any third parties collected from the Company's Websites, except as provided in this Privacy Statement.

Billing

The Company may use a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use Billing Information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on the Company's behalf.

Compelled Disclosure

The Company reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if the Company reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect the Company's rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

Transfers of Data

We process personal information on leased dedicated servers located in India. Our processor that provides these leased servers is Amazon Web Services, Inc. This transfer is subject to appropriate contractual safeguards and Amazon Web Services, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. Transfers to other processors are either subject to appropriate safeguards or on the basis of an adequacy decision.

9. Security

The Company takes precautions, including appropriate administrative, technical and physical measures, to protect Data About Customers against loss, theft and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. When we collect or transmit credit card numbers, we use industry standard methods to protect such information. Customers are solely responsible for protecting their passwords, limiting access to their computers, and signing out of the alerto Services after their sessions.

alerto Business Contact Directory Privacy Statement

This alerto Business Contact Privacy Statement describes the Company's privacy practices for Business Contact Information listed in the alerto Directory, and other business contact information which may be provided through the alerto Services.

Description of the alerto Directory and Services

The purpose of the alerto Directory and Services is to maintain and provide up-to-date business contact information. The alerto Directory contains Business Contact Information, prospect details and Company Information from a variety of sources. alerto Directory information comes only from alerto team members. However, individuals may add their own Business Contact Information to the alerto Directory, and the Company may supplement the alerto Directory with publicly available information or with information from trusted data providers who are legally authorized to provide such information. Social Identifications, which may be included in the Business Contact Information or otherwise provided through the alerto Services, are currently only available for individuals identified as being located in India.
The Company notifies individuals when their Business Contact Information is added for the first time to the alerto Directory via email to permit them the opportunity to opt out of being listed in the alerto Directory. Also, at any time, individuals can check to see if they are listed in the alerto Directory by clicking on "Are You in alerto?"

Definitions Relating to the alerto Directory

"Business Contact Information" means any of the following information identified as relating to, or used in connection with, an individual's business or profession: an individual's name, title, company, work phone number, work email address and work address; and (i) publicly available Social Identifications; and/or (ii) supplementary information that may provide context regarding the individual's business or profession such as business role and responsibility designations (e.g. "Product Management", "Business Development"), that is listed in the alerto Directory and/or otherwise made available through the alerto Services.
"Company Information" means information relating to a company, which may include a company's name, address, Website (URL), phone number, industry classification, employee range, revenue range, stock exchange and ticker symbol information (for publicly traded companies), news and other publications, that is listed in the alerto Directory and/or otherwise made available through the alerto Services.
The "alerto Directory" is the Company's database of Company Information and Business Contact Information.

10. Data Integrity

The Company limits Business Contact Information available in the alerto Directory to information typically found on a business card, including name, title, company, work phone number, work email address,decision makers details, work address and Social Identifications, as well as supplementary information that may provide context regarding the individual's business or profession such as business role and responsibility designations (e.g. "Product Management", "Business Development"). Non-business information, such as home phone numbers and addresses are not permitted in the alerto Directory.
